1. What information do I need to gather before registering for a Mommy Party?

2. How do my guests attend the shower?

Your guests will each receive an invitation to the party with instructions on the activities of the party. Once the guest arrives, he/she can play party games online, post to your party message board, and write their message to the mom-to-be.

3. Does everyone have to be at the party at the same time?

No, your guests will have the convenience of attending the party at their leisure. The party can last from one day to several months - you decide. There is no extra cost for party length. You do have the option of hosting a real-time chat during the party, so your guests will want to attend during that specified time.

4. Can I add more guests after registering for the party?

Yes. You can invite additional guests at any time. Go to your hostess administrative page to send out a new invitation.

5. How can I find out which guests have attended the party?

The party page will list the guest who have attended as well as those who haven't attended.

6. Canceling a party

Only you can cancel a party. The hostess fee is non-refundable after registration. We send invitations out immediately. A cancellation page will be posted on your party for guests to view. See the cancellation policy for more details.

7. Can multiple moms-to-be be honored at one party?

Since each baby shower is personalized for an expectant mother, only one mom-to-be can be honored at each baby shower. The invitations are personalized with her name and when you enter the party, her name is displayed. Mommy Party feels that each mom-to-be is special and deserves her own individual party.

8. How do I get back into registration?

If you did not complete the entire registration and need to continue entering information, please e-mail us at info@mommyparty.com for help.

GUESTS

1. How do I attend the party?

Click on the balloon that reads "Join Your Party". Simply sign in by using the password from your invitation. If you have questions about what to do inside of the party page, click on the "help" button.

2. What if I don't have a computer?

Whether you don't have access to a computer or you just don't feel comfortable using one, Mommy Party can help. For a location of a cybercafe in your area, please go to: http://www.cybercafe.com.

5. When do I need to attend?

You can come to the party anytime of the day or night at your convenience. If the hostess decides to host a chat, then you should log into the party at the specified time.

EXPECTANT MOTHER

1. Can I host my own shower?

Yes you can. We welcome anyone to host a shower. A friend, a husband, co-worker, the expectant mother, etc...are able to hold the party. Traditional showers have gone by the wayside and given way to couples showers, online showers, and new parent showers. So, hosting your own shower is perfectly acceptable. It comes down to your personal preference.
